Not only did the group- consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook- perform their track “Butter” for the first time, but bagged some awards along the way.

The lads swept the Billboard Awards, winning every category they were nominated for. One of the categories, top-selling song, was snatched by BTS’ first English bop “Dynamite” which was released last August. “Dynamite” brought the group up to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and even led the boys to a Grammy nomination.

BTS also took home the Top Duo/Group award, Top Sales Artist, and fan-voted Top Social Artist. Nevertheless, fans enthusiastically supported the group through social media, giving loads of encouragement to the artists.

With such a striking performance of “Butter,” BTS continues to demonstrate their talent as true musicians. “Butter,” the band’s second all-English song, dropped May 21 and is already making huge accomplishments. According to YouTube, the single’s music video has set a new, all-time 24-hour record of 108.2 million views, beating the group’s previous record of 101.1 million views from “Dynamite.”

The premiere for “Butter” racked up more than 3.9 million watchers, becoming the world’s biggest YouTube premiere. As of now, music lovers can only continue to watch how far this youthful song will go.
