Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, and Steven Yeun are all starring in the brand-new Jordan Peele horror film, Nope, in theaters on July 22, 2022.

Academy-award winner Jordan Peele is widely known in the horror movie industry for his amazing films, including 2017’s Get Out and 2019’s Us. Peele has cast amazing, talented actors and actresses for his films in the past, including Daniel Kaluya and Lupita Nyong’o. Keke Palmer is the latest actress to be chosen as the female lead in this latest film.

On Instagram, Palmer celebrated the film’s release date by posting the movie poster and highlighting the IMAX portion, making this horror film different from the rest. “#NopeMovie 7.22.22 — I know y’all see the IMAX 😏,” the caption read.

Other celebrities and actresses, including Michael Strahan and Jude Demorest (known for her role as Star Davis in 2016’s Fox’s hit drama Star), celebrated Palmer’s new role while sending out lots of love and support.

Palmer’s fans also tweeted out their support upon hearing the film’s announcement.

Details about the film’s plot are being kept under wraps. The only details being released to the public at this time are the title, release date, and that Universal Studios will produce the film. Unfortunately, no official trailer has been released at this time.

The American actress has starred in several roles during her lifetime, including her 2006 appearance in Akeelah and the Bee, Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, and even starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in 2019’s Hustlers. The British actor, Daniel Kaluuya, is best known for his roles in 2017’s Get Out, his role as W’Kabi in 2018’s Black Panther, and recently starred in the 2021’s release of Judas and the Black Messiah.

Steven Yeun is a South Korean-born American actor known for his roles as Glenn Rhee in the television series The Walking Dead and 2018’s film Burning.

For audiences that have seen Get Out and Us, Jordan Peele’s work in horror movies is quite remarkable, and the casting is often portrayed very well. This latest film, Nope, should be no different, and the secrecy and anticipation will only make the public wanting more.
