HBO Releases First Trailer for New Docuseries ‘Music Box’
HBO has given viewers their first glimpse into the new documentary series Music Box. The new nostalgic-musical series will be highlighting the most historic moments ranging from a variety of genres from Hip-Hop to Disco.
HBO has released a sneak peek for their new docuseries Music Box. The upcoming series will be a collection of documentary films tackling a plethora of music genres with new interviews and behind the scenes footage.
The new docuseries premiered this past Friday with first of the series, Woodstock 99: Peace, Love and Rage. A story about the disastrous music festival Woodstock which took place back in 1999. Viewers can expect five more on the way this fall serving nostalgic moments in a six-singular film series.
In addition to Woodstock, there will be five more upcoming films including Jagged featuring Alanis Morisette and the story behind her iconic Jagged Little Pill album, Mr. Saturday Night which tells a story about Disco legend Robert Stigwood, Listening to Kenny G, a story about a legendary saxophonist along with two Untitled films on the late rappers DMX and Juice WRLD.

DMX fans can expect to see rare footage of his life after his release from prison to prior of his passing in April 2021. The docuseries will be produced by Bill Simmons and each film will stand on its own and directed by different directors including Allison Klayman, John Maggio, Christopher Frierson, Penny Oliver and Penny Lane.
There is no exact release date for the upcoming five films of the Music Box series. However, viewers can stream Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage on HBO Max.
