Chloe Bailey Announces New Debut Album In Pieces
Nearly two years after dropping her hit single “Have Mercy,” Chlöe has finally announced the release of her highly anticipated debut album, In Pieces.
Chlöe took to her Instagram earlier this week to reveal the news, teasing her followers with a short clip promoting the project. She wore a beautiful form-fitting red leather gown and held a human heart in one arm and a golden sphere. As the video zooms out, Chlöe sings, “Wear my heart on my sleeve, they all say I’m naïve, but it’s better than nothing.”

The artist has dropped multiple hit singles within the past year including “Treat Me” and “For The Night” so it’s no surprise that fans are more than ready for the release of her upcoming album. Celebrities and fans shared their excitement over the news online.

She’s giving!
Before pursuing her solo career, Chlöe released a grammy-nominated album, Ungodly Hour, with her sister Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid). Last year in an interview with Essence Magazine, Chlöe opened up about some of the challenges she faced since working without Halle and responded to the criticism she’s been given so far. She comments, “When sis got the role of Ariel, it was so exciting, but it forced us to be in two different places, which was very, very scary.” She explains how making music during their time apart was therapy for her. The Little Mermaid star, Halle Bailey, commented on the post, “Wooooo!!!!!!”
You can expect the upcoming album, In Pieces, to be released sometime in March, but the official date has not been revealed yet.
