The Frasier revival just got a whole lot better. Bebe Neuwirth, who portrayed the iconic Dr. Lilith Sternin on Cheers and Frasier, is officially on board for the revival.

Former power couple Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) and Dr. Lilith Sternin (Bebe Neuwirth) will soon be back together again. The duo was notoriously known for their quick-witted banter and undeniable chemistry. Neuwirth made her first appearance on Cheers back in 1986.

Grammer made a quick pit stop to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when he confirmed that the revival will find Frasier returning to old stomping grounds: Boston.

He revealed, “Later in his life, Frasier Crane is “a little more mature. He’s got a little more wisdom about him but he’s a little bit silly and takes certain things more seriously than most people do. That’s his character. And it’s been really fun to play him again.”

According to the episode description in which Neuwirth will guest star, “When they reunite at Freddy’s birthday party, Lilith, in classic form, is far from pleased about having to share Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) now that Frasier is back living in Boston. What begins as a fun party with friends and family, inevitably becomes a Lilith-and-Frasier showdown for the ages!”

Both Cheers and Frasier ran for a whopping eleven seasons. Cheers lasted from 1982-1993; Frasier began in 1993 and ended in 2004. Grammer won four Emmys (1994, 1995, 1998, and 2004) for his portrayal of Dr. Frasier Crane. Neuwirth won two Emmys in 1990 and 1991 for her work in Cheers.

We are so excited about the upcoming Frasier revival. Fans can relive the incredible series on Hulu. Cheers is available to watch on Paramount Plus.
