Madame Web, directed by S.J. Clarkson, is in theaters on February 14, and many stars, including Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney, arrived in style for its red carpet premiere.

The Sony Pictures film is based on Marvel superheroes, and its other main stars include Isabela Merced and Celeste O’Connor. Other cast members at the film’s premiere were Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.

Alongside Clarkson’s direction, Madame Web was written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, and Claire Parker.

Johnson portrays Cassandra Webb, a paramedic who gains psychic abilities that allow her to view the future within Sony’s Spider-Man universe.

Johnson’s stylist, Kate Young, styled the Persuasion actress in a custom Gucci creation. The dress was crystal-embellished, with a webbed design, clearly a nod towards the film.

She, however, was not the only one dressed to impress at the red carpet. Her Madame Web co-stars also appeared in stunning outfits. Sweeney, like Johnson, opted for a dark look styled in Oscar de la Renta. The Euphoria star wore a strapless corset gown with a nude and black color scheme. Johnson and Sweeney were pictured solo at the premiere but posed for pictures together before the screening.

O’Connor stunned in a red halter gown by designer Gert-Johan Coetzee. Bedazzled head to toe, her look was complete with a flowing red cape and Jimmy Choo heels.

In addition, Merced donned a look worn on the runway by Naomi Campbell. The black, embroidered gown was from Atelier Versace’s Spring/Summer 1999 couture collection. The bodice of Merced’s dress included an intricate, scale-like pattern that flowed down into a beautiful mesh skirt.

Sweeney, Merced, and O’Connor were spotted filming for Madame Web in 2022. The film had been in progress for a while, and its February 14 release coincides with Valentine’s Day. After Madame Web, Sony Pictures plans to release Kraven the Hunter on August 30 and Venom 3 on November 8.
