Lewis Hamilton Makes Formula 1 His Latest Runway
Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has become a huge fashion icon, and fans always look forward to seeing what he will wear at the Formula 1 weekend.
Lewis Hamilton and his stylist, Eric McNeal, are constantly outdoing themselves in fashion. New upcoming designer pieces, archival outfits, and overall solid personal branding make every outfit Hamilton wears scream his name.
For the first week of the 2024 season, Hamilton wore outfits from the Gucci Fall Winter collection, 3.Paradis diamond quilted set, TOMY X CLOT by Tommy Hilfiger, and a brown oversized flowy set.
In the beginning, his attire created some conversations with the other drivers. It wasn’t common for them to put together outfits, usually only wearing the team’s merchandise. Nowadays, other drivers like Zhou Guanyu, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc, and Fernando Alonso take more risks with their fashion choices on the paddock.

On top of modeling amazing outfits, Hamilton constantly fights for what he believes is right. For example, he always calls out problems inside the very elitist Formula 1, wears helmets flaunting the LGBTQ+ flag in countries where being part of that group is a crime, promotes Black artists, has been a vegan since 2017, and way more.
In 2021, he declined invitations by fashion brands to go to the MET Gala because he bought a table to highlight young Black designers at one of the pivotal fashion events in the world. He has attended the event six times, the first in 2015 next to Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber wearing Topshop.
