While this album’s release date was first announced in February, fans have received plenty of content to spark their interest, including new singles and remixes, reimagined album art, countless tour dates, music videos, and more.

The album consists of 15 songs and lasts 41 minutes. The cover art has a striking chartreuse background with “brat” in the center. The artist reimagined her former albums’ cover art to match the style of this one, creating a cohesive aesthetic that recalls the early aughts of the internet.

Referencing the pop culture of the early 2000s is an essential part of Charli XCX’s brand. Her creative, culturally savvy way of infusing her work with this nostalgia is exemplified by the recent release of “Von Dutch,” a single from Brat. Von Dutch brand apparel was famously popular among early prominent socialites, such as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton, who will also release an album. This iconic duo is also looking forward to their new reality series

Other Brat singles that fans have been enjoying include “B2b,” “Club Classics,” and “360.” The latter was released on May 10 in tandem with a star-studded music video, which is available below. On May 31, Charli XCX dropped “The 360 remix with robyn and yung lean.”

One fan went so far as to hail the album as a return to “real music.”

The pop star is pulling out all the stops in this new era. Charli XCX begins touring with Troye Sivan and Shygirl this fall, and ticket sales have been highly contentious as her stardom grows.
