Anne Hathaway to Return as Mia Thermopolis in New Princess Diaries 3
After 20 years, the princess of Genovia finally returns. Anne Hathaway confirmed her return to The Princess Diaries on TikTok, the perfect way to start a new month.
After releasing the first part of the story in 2001, audiences fell in love with Mia Thermopolis and her bubbly personality throughout the beautiful scenery of San Francisco. The film granted audiences immaculate vibes and now, nostalgia, making it many viewers comfort film for life.

In a 2019 interview with PEOPLE, the actress reminisced about how she “got to hug Julie Andrews every day,” a dream come true for the star. The Princess Diaries’s success wasn’t a surprise at all. Aadrita Mukerji known for her work on Supergirl is set to write the film’s script while Adele Lim will direct.
