Alexander Skarsgård Joins Season 3 of HBO Max Hit ‘Succession’
Alexander Skarsgård has signed on for a recurring role throughout season three of the HBO Max series Succession. The award-winning actor is returning to HBO once again for the Emmy award-winning show created by Jesse Armstrong. The announcement comes after subtle teasers from Succession, as the show continues production in New York. Filming had been halted for a few months due to the pandemic, but things are beginning to come together.

Skarsgård will take on the role of Lukas Matsson, a successful, confrontational tech CEO aligned with the Roy family. He will join the cast of big names including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, and more.

Known for starring in shows like True Blood and Big Little Lies, Skarsgård boasts countless awards and a long history of powerful performances. His film credits include the recent action movie Godzilla v. King Kong and The Legend of Tarzan.
Skarsgård is not the only new addition to the cast this season. Love and Basketball star Sanaa Lathan is set to play a well-connected New York Lawyer. Jenny’s Wedding actress Linda Emond will also play a White House aide.

It’s been a busy year for Skarsgård, who just wrapped production for The Northman alongside Nicole Kidman and Anya Taylor-Joy.
