BTS Release Exciting Black and White Teaser for New Single ‘Butter’
K-pop supergroup BTS has continued their promotion for their upcoming single “Butter,” this time with an exciting short teaser trailer. The teaser was posted early on Tuesday, May 18, through the band’s YouTube channel and shared throughout their social media. Although the teaser video lasts only 24 seconds, it clearly has made an impact with fans as it hit over 16 million views in under a day.
The teaser video includes all members of the group standing next to each other in a line. Music plays behind the boys, which is assumed to be a snippet of “Butter,” as the band moves their heads along to the beat. The video is displayed in black and white and shares the group dressed up in coordinated black and white suits. This is all we see of the group in the video, then quickly switching with an image of pancakes stacked up, and the word “Butter” appearing in front of it. The teaser ends showing the release date of May 21 at midnight EST.
The upcoming single is available for pre-save on both Spotify and Apple Music. The band has also listed an instrumental version of the song, a limited edition 7″ vinyl, and a limited edition cassette, all for pre-order on their website. Both the single and the official music video will be released on May 21 at midnight EST.
