While AI-generated content keeps flooding our feeds, Victoria Monét is putting the spotlight back on human creativity. The Grammy-winning artist recreated the viral AI studio trend in real life alongside Quavo, staging an actual photoshoot with no artificial intelligence involved, as both artists prepare to release new albums.

The concept arrives at an especially fitting moment for Monét, who has previously been vocal about AI’s growing presence in music and her hope that the future of the industry remains rooted in human artistry.

A Real-Life Answer to the AI Trend

The clever clip mirrors the look of the AI-generated studio videos taking over social media, complete with a vivid orange backdrop, a vintage hanging microphone, and Monét and Quavo facing one another mid-session.

The twist? This time, the artists are real.

Monét made the point clear in her caption, writing, “No AI,” while celebrating the fact that both artists have new albums arriving October 2. Rather than relying on an AI-generated version of the trend, she and Quavo staged an actual shoot and put themselves in front of the camera, turning the viral format into a playful celebration of the people behind the music.

Two Real Albums, One Big Night

The collaboration arrives on the eve of a major release day for both stars.

For Monét, that means Frequency Of Love, her long-awaited sophomore album and first full-length studio album since her Grammy-winning Jaguar II. The 22-track project arrives October 2 via Lovett Music and RCA Records, following singles “Reach Out,” “Let Me,” and “Juicy.”

The album also features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including SZA, Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Lucky Daye, Chlöe, Leon Thomas, and Monét’s daughter, Hazel.

Quavo, meanwhile, will release his third solo studio album, Qrömelife, on October 2. The project is executive produced by Pharrell Williams and marks Quavo’s first solo full-length since 2023’s Rocket Power.

Two distinct artists, two new bodies of work, and one timely celebration of human-made music.

Everything in Victoria Monét’s World Right Now

Monét is entering her new era with plenty to celebrate. Beyond Frequency Of Love, which is available now to pre-order and pre-save, she is taking the new music on the road with her Frequency Of Love Tour.

The 27-city North American headline run kicks off October 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina, before making stops across the U.S. and Canada and wrapping December 17 in San Francisco. Glitter will be there to experience the tour firsthand.

Monét is also expanding the meaning behind this era through the Frequency Of Love Foundation, a youth-centered education and wellness initiative designed to give children greater knowledge surrounding food, agriculture, culinary skills, wellness, gut health, brain function, science, and community. Fans purchasing tickets for the Frequency Of Love Tour can choose to add an optional $1 contribution at checkout to help support the foundation’s community garden programs.

Between a new album, a nationwide tour, and a mission rooted in giving back, Monét’s Frequency Of Love era is becoming about considerably more than music. And with her latest post, she is offering a timely reminder that behind the songs, visuals, performances, and creative ideas are real people making them.
