The superstar’s newest track was released to accompany her other latest single, “Kiss Me More,” featuring the one and only SZA. These two bops are a part of Doja Cat’s upcoming album, Planet Her, which she describes in an interview with Audacy as, “…Basically, Planet Her is the center of the universe, and it’s where all races of space exist, and it’s where all species can be in harmony there. That’s the lore.” She preaches a sort of ‘divine feminine’ appeal to the album, and we are here for it.

A reoccurring theme with Doja’s recent work for her upcoming album is the futuristic theme, hence the album title Planet Her. Doja Cat does seem to do it all with her superior vocals, dance moves, and stunning music videos that never disappoint. The “Need to Know” music video begins with Doja gaming and vibing with some pals in an epic, futuristic loft. They are then transported on some futuristic transportation, where they finally ended up at the club. Fans on Twitter went crazy for the guest star of the video Grimes, whose theme of the video and album is right up her alley.
