18-year-old songwriting phenom Olivia Rodrigo will perform “The Rose Song” as Nini Salazar-Roberts on the sixth episode of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series‘ second season.

Per the Los Angeles Times, June 18’s episode of the Disney+ series HSMTMTS will feature Olivia Rodrigo’s original track, “The Rose Song,” which her character Nini writes and performs after getting the role of “the Rose” in East High’s winter musical, Beauty and the Beast.

“I’m breaking through the glass you put me in ’cause my beauty’s from within,” Rodrigo sings. She previously wrote and performed her Billboard-charting original song, “All I want,” on the show’s first season. Showrunner Tim Federle called her Season 2 song “Pretty extraordinary” and said, “We all felt like, ‘How could she ever top “All I Want”?’ And then she came up with this concept that knocked our socks off.”

After initially amassing fame as the lead character on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, the star’s debut album “Sour” landed at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and Number 1 on Spotify. It features her lead single, “Drivers License,” which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Sour” also features hits like “Good 4 U,” which also debuted at No. 1, and “Deja Vu,” which debuted at No. 8. Rodrigo became the first artist ever to have her first three singles debut in the top 10 of the Hot 100. Back in May, when the album came out, she wrote on Instagram, “Every song is so personal and close to my heart. Getting to share them with people is the most special thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

Rodrigo’s fans showed their excitement for her upcoming song on Twitter.
