It’s official: K-Pop sensation NCT 127 is set to make their long-awaited musical comeback this September alongside a new, full-length album. With such sudden news, fans are bouncing off walls due to excitement.

On July 7 (KST), the boys of NCT 127 celebrated a special fifth anniversary with the online event “Beyond Live- NCT 127 Online Fanmeeting Office: Foundation Day.” The live stream showcased a virtual talk show, fun games, stunning performances, and most importantly, a thrilling comeback announcement.

“We will continue to work hard for our comeback in September. Till then, stay healthy and hang in there,” NCT leader Taeyong promised their passionate fans.

While the upcoming album’s title, tracks, release date, and overall theme remain unknown to the public, fans are already preparing for another collection of hits. It’s been a while since the ennead last dropped an album. The group released Neo Zone in March of 2020, so after over a year of suspense, the world is ready to see what NCT 127 has in store.

NCT 127 is one of three subunits of K-Pop supergroup NCT (Neo Culture Technology). Members Jungwoo, Taeil, Yuta, Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung, Mark, Haechan, and Jaehyun debuted with NCT 127 in 2016 with “Firetruck.” The song gives off an old-school punk vibe, completely different from the group’s latest single.

Recently the idols teamed up with Korean hip hop label Amoeba Culture to release “Save.” Acting as a promotional single for the band’s second Japanese mini-album Loveholic, NCT 127 charms the camera with alluring gazes and impressive vocals. Until we know more about the comeback, be sure to check out the futuristic “Save” music video above.
