Music fans are freaking out, and there’s a good reason why: Becky G, Khea, and Julia Michaels dropped a new hit collaboration, “Only One.” The single also features the production work of renowned singer-songwriter Di Genius, perfecting the song’s desired Summer vibes.

On July 15, Latin superstars Becky G, Khea, and Julia Michaels teamed up with Di Genius by releasing their latest track, “Only One.” After teasing fans all week with pre-save links and short snippets from the unrevealed music video, the music world awaited desperately to see what the artists had in store.

In a tweet from Julia Michaels, parts of the soon-to-be-released music video can be seen. In a dazed state, muffled music plays as each of the performers come to view wearing edgy, white get-ups. The set seems to take place in prison but quickly flashes to a powerful clip of Michaels before giving too much information away. “Tell me I’m the only one,” she sings in gorgeous red gloves and an intricate black fit.

“Tell me I’m the only one / ‘Cause I’ve been hearing rumors / About some things you did the other night / Tell me I’m the only one / And now make me believe it / ‘Cause if you don’t I’ll have to say goodbye,” the lyrics explain before jumping into the chorus.

While “Only One” describes addressing cheating rumors in a romantic relationship, Becky G and Khea explain some additional significance to the song. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, fans learn the title can be recognized as a tribute to the unification of communities.

“The versatility behind artists like myself, Khea, and Julia, and us coming together, is pretty magical,” Becky explains. Khea adds on thoughtfully, “[the] industry is starting to see music as one world. Collaborations like this are fundamental so that music transcends barriers.”

Until the artists share the official music video for “Only One,” listeners can check out the provided lyric video. As of now, the video has reached over 45,000 views and 7,000 likes. With the numbers continuing to grow, fans eagerly await to see what’s next for their idols.
