Bailee Madison Is Cast in New ‘Pretty Little Liars’ HBO Max Reboot

On July 27, Bailee Madison was announced to be cast in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, an HBO Max reboot. The 21-year-old actress is set to play Imogen, who will be the lead role attempting to uncover the mysterious and dangerous “A.”

Madison posted a photo of the exciting news announcing her new role in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on social media. The actress wrote, “Who’s reAdy? I may be a little liar.. but this secret is one I can’t keep any longer… over the moon. beyond excited. and so grateful.” Madison tagged and thanked Aguirre-Sacasa and Calhoon Bring, who wrote the drama series reboot in the caption.

According to Deadline, there will be a new story and multiple new characters emerging in the upcoming show. The show will take place in the blue-collar town of Millwood, where many experienced multiple tragic events. Presently, the new group of Little Liars is faced with the obstacle of an unknown Assailant nicknamed “A,” who is attempting to make the group pay for the troubles their parents caused twenty years ago. Madison will play Imogen, who is described as a “true survivor” and “a final girl.”

Previously announced, Chandler Kinney and Maia Reficco are also a part of the Pretty Little Liars reboot. Kinney is set to play Tabby, and Reficco will play the role of Noa.

Since 2006, Bailee Madison has starred in Parental Guidance, Just Go with It, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, and Bridge to Terabithia. Additionally, the actress has starred in television shows such as Wizards of Waverly Place, Once Upon a Time, Trophy Wife, and Good Witch.
