Disney Releases New Trailer for Animated Film ‘Encanto’
Disney invites fans to celebrate finding your magic by releasing a trailer for their upcoming animated film Encanto. The film stars Stephanie Beatriz, Diane Guerrero, Carolina Gaitán, Wilmer Valderrama and María Cecilia Botero. The movie is also a musical with songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and co-directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush.

The movie follows the Madrigal family, who live in the mountains of Columbia in a charming enchanted home called Encanto. Every child in the Madrigal family is given magical gifts except for one, fifteen-year-old Mirabel. The gifts are an extraordinary power that ties to their personality. For example, Antonio can talk to animals, Luisa has super strength, and Isabel their favorite child, can create flowers and plants. However, Mirabel quickly becomes frustrated because she is the only member of the family not to have any unique gifts.

The trailer runs over two minutes long, allowing fans a glimpse into the vibrant animation and the magical life of the Madrigal family. The family’s home comes to life in the trailer with the floors dancing and the bricks playing the piano.
The trailer proceeds to show the family’s home being threatened and their magic becoming in danger. Mirabel is the only hope the family has at saving the magic and the home.
