What Happened to Lauren from Power Book II: Ghost?
As the newest episode of Power Book II: Ghost was released this past Sunday, fans are speculating if Lauren (Paige Hurd), Tariq’s (Michael Rainey Jr.) love interest, is really dead.
This episode heavily features the Tejada family drama after being revealed that Monet (Mary J Blige), is Zeke’s (Daniel Bellomy) biological mother. Along with the family drama, Tariq found out that Lauren unknowingly used a wire in a murder case against him. Tariq takes advantage of this opportunity to ensure Lauren is in a safe, unknown place, assuming she put herself in danger with Cane (Woody McClain) and Brayden (Giani Paolo).

However, we see that neither Cane nor Brayden harm Lauren. It is Tariq’s other love interest, Effie, that punches Lauren. Knocking her unconcious, Effie forces Lauren into her car and takes her to an unknown location. Because of this, fans are starting to speculate whether Lauren is alive or not.

Fans on Twitter have given their conspiracy theories following last week’s episode. Some of the theories even suggest that the directors hinted that Lauren would die when Tariq had envisioned all of the ghosts, including Professor Milgram, his twin sister Raina, Joe Proctor, and even Lauren, in his classroom.
