Zoë Kravitz Teases at a New Album
We don’t know about you killer cats, but hearing that Zoë Kravitz is working on an album has us purring with anticipation.
The Big Little Lies actress graced the cover of Elle Monday morning (Feb. 14) in a black Saint Laurent crossbody catsuit with a red flower at the center. In her interview with Jessica Herndon, she revealed that she is working on an album with famed songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff. Antonoff, who has written with Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Phoebe Bridgers, has been a long-time friend to Zoë. When asked about the writing process, the High Fidelity actress told Elle, “It feels vulnerable, and it’s a little scary, but making music makes me happy,”.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard her sing as she was featured on the song “Screwed” on Janelle Monae’s album Dirty Computer. She also performed a soft and sultry cover of Elvis’ “Don’t.” Fans could not get enough of her beautiful voice and are excited to be getting a full body of work from her.

The High Fidelity actress will also be making her directorial debut with her film P*ssy Island. Her Step-Up beau, Channing Tatum will star as a tech billionaire. The two were first spotted together in August of 2021 and have been inseparable ever since. Kravitz doted on him, telling Elle, “Looking at his work and hearing him speak about Magic Mike and the live show, I’m like, I think he’s a feminist.” She continued saying, “You need to be so far from who this is, where it’s not scary. And I don’t think we’ve ever seen him play someone dark. I’m excited to see him do that.”
Kravitz, the daughter of rockstar Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, was cast as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman for The Batman film. The highly anticipated Matt Reeves film premieres on March 4. Fans can watch her new film Kimi on HBO Max to keep the lovely Zoë Kravitz fresh in their minds.
