Hulu Reveals New Teaser Trailer With Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas In Deep Water
Hulu dropped a steamy new trailer and poster for the new psychological thriller Deep Water starring Ben Affleck & Ana de Armas streaming March 18.
Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) and Ana de Armas (Knives Out) have definitely got our attention in this new intimate trailer where the duo plays a typical married couple, Vic and Melinda, that secretly enjoys playing mind games on each other. Based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley), the film is directed by Adrian Lyne (9½ Weeks, Fatal Attraction, Indecent Proposal) who is known for bringing us some really classic and amazing erotic thrillers.
Hulu’s official synopsis reads: “The film takes us inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them.”
Melinda asks Vic in the trailer, “Why are you the only man that wants to stay with me?” It all goes chaotic from there with Melinda and Vic both admitting there’s something wrong with them in the middle of a steamy encounter.
Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Kristen Connolly, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard, Michael Braun, Jade Fernandez, Grace Jenkins, Brendan C. Miller, Devyn Tyler, and Jeff Pope are some of the supporting cast announced. The film is produced by Arnon Milchan, Guymon Casady, Benjamin Forkner, and Anthony Katagas.
