Our favorite hot girl, Megan Thee Stallion, landed a role in an upcoming movie-musical from A24, entitled F*cking Identical Twins.

The rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, took to Instagram to share her excitement by stating, “HOTTIES THIS IS OUR FIRST MOVIEEEE/ MUSICAL! We’ve seen Pete rise to the top in recent year, including her winning three Grammys at the 2021 awards. While on the rise, she kept up with her education, completing her bachelor of science in health administration at Texas Southern University in December 2021. She discussed the role her mom and grandmother played in continuing her studies, stating, “I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud…I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today.”

The movie will also star Tony winner Nathan Lane, Emmy winner Megan Mullally, and Saturday Night Live breakout cast member Bowen Yang. Larry Charles will be in the director’s seat, with past credits including the mockumentary comedy Borat.

The film is describes as, “A subversive musical spin on The Parent Trap,” but with a new modern and adult twist. As far as the rest of the plot goes, we’ll just have to wait and see.

A release date has yet to be announced for the film.
