Hulu has finally dropped the full trailer to the highly anticipated psychological-erotic thriller, Deep Water. The film starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas will arrive on Hulu on March 18.

Deep Water, the upcoming film directed by Adrian Lyne (9½ WeeksFatal AttractionIndecent Proposal), is back at it again, gifting the world some of the best erotic thrillers of all time. Deep Water is based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley). The novel was first published in 1957 and is celebrated for its mysterious undertones.

Hulu’s official synopsis of Lyne's film reads: "Deep Water takes us inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them.”

Hulu’s official synopsis of Lyne’s film reads: “Deep Water takes us inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them.”

The steamy trailer examines Vic and Melinda’s unhappy marriage. Melinda asks Vic early on in the trailer, “Why are you the only man that wants to stay with me?” This question prompts the chaos to ensue, with the couple’s child, Trixie, asking her father, “Why is mom so different around other people?” Vic tells his daughter, “I that that’s just who she is.” From there, Melinda ends their monogamous relationship, taking on other lovers and playing dangerous mind games. This game of cat and mouse is reminiscent of Affleck’s Gone Girl days, and Vic certainly has no time for his wife’s games.

Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Kristen Connolly, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard, Michael Braun, Jade Fernandez, Grace Jenkins, Brendan C. Miller, Devyn Tyler, and Jeff Pope are some of the supporting cast announced. Deep Water is produced by Arnon Milchan, Guymon Casady, Benjamin Forkner, and Anthony Katagas.

Deep Water promises to be a thrilling ride for these troubled characters. Be sure to stream this sultry film on March 18, only on Hulu.
