The Twilight vampirette was just announced to be playing the protective love interest in the upcoming A24 film. The Rose Glass directed film follows the extreme measures taken in the competitive world of bodybuilding. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is a “romance fueled by ego, desire, and the American dream.”

Glass also directed the horror-drama film Saint Maud which was met with rave reviews. It’s no surprise that fans are excited to see the English filmmaker embark on another project with someone equally talented, Kristen Stewart.

Stewart has already had a great year with her Academy Award nomination for her role as Princess Diana in the film Spencer. Additionally, she also is newly engaged to her longtime partner Dylan Meyer.

The search is still ongoing for the film’s lead actress, but we know that with Stewart’s acting chops and Glass’ talent, Love Lies Bleeding will be a film to watch out for.
