Megan Thee Stallion to Drop New Song This Week

After previewing the hot girl hit during her first Coachella performance last weekend, Megan Thee Stallion plans to release a new ex-boyfriend anthem on Friday. When the Houston rapper teased the single on TikTok recently, fans were begging her to drop the full version. “LOVE YOURSELF CAUSE THIS S*** COULD GET UGLY,” the Grammy winner wrote in her caption as she lip synced along to the unreleased track’s lyrics.

After previewing the hot girl hit during her first Coachella performance last weekend, Megan Thee Stallion plans to release a new ex-boyfriend anthem on Friday. When the Houston rapper teased the single on TikTok recently, fans were begging her to drop the full version. “LOVE YOURSELF CAUSE THIS S*** COULD GET UGLY,” the Grammy winner wrote in her caption as she lip-synced along to the unreleased track’s lyrics.

Then, during her Coachella debut on Sunday, she performed the song in its entirety. An ode to old-school rap, the 27-year-old songwriter’s scathing lyrics, and upbeat tempo drove the crowd wild. Sampling Jodeci, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah’s “Freek’n You,” the “Savage” singer revealed that the single is “very mother****ing personal” to her. Before beginning, Megan dedicated the new anthem to “whom the f*** it may concern.” With lines like “popping Plan Bs ’cause I don’t plan to be stuck with ya,” the rapper’s upcoming hit is undoubtedly a dangerous diss track.

Megan’s Coachella performance was so successful that fans immediately took to social media to demand the song’s release. Not only that, Thee Stallion herself egged them on. After reposting the TikTok clip on her Instagram, the “WAP” star wrote, “Wondering if I should drop this before I perform at Coachella next weekend?” @thegirljt responded, “Girl, stop playing you know what to do!!!!!”

On Tuesday, The Hotties’ prayers were finally answered. “Girl drop letter to my ex,” one user told Megan on Twitter. Shortly thereafter, the rapper quoted the tweet with one simple word, “Friday.”

While the song’s title is currently unknown, it’s guaranteed to be a hit. Stay tuned for updates over the next few days as we find out more. Stay up-to-date on all things Megan Thee Stallion by following her on InstagramTikTok, and Twitter.
