Harry Styles Announced the Release of New Album Harry’s House
Harry Styles announced the release of his new album Harry’s House, an intimate piece that focuses on self-reflection and self-love.
In his interview with Better Homes and Gardens, Styles tells the story of how this album came to be. The pandemic had halted all activities, and he had stopped working for the first time in his career. During the time he stayed home, he began conceptualizing his new album. “I realized that that home feeling isn’t something that you get from a house; it’s more of an internal thing. You realize that when you stop for a minute,” he states to Better Homes and Gardens.
After leaving One Direction, Styles is growing more and more comfortable with his new status as an independent musician. “Finally, it doesn’t feel like my life is over if this album isn’t a commercial success,” he continues to divulge, referring to Harry’s House as the first project he worked on where he felt completely liberated creatively.

The singer took to Twitter to inform fans that the album would come out on May 20. The album cover shows Styles in a pair of baggy high-waisted jeans and a blouse, standing with child-like confusion in an upside-down room. The tweet garnered over a million likes in mere hours. Fans expressed their excitement over the announcement and began counting the days until the album’s release.
