The film starring Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya, Steven Yeun, and Barbie Ferreira is set to hit theaters on July 22. Nope is the third film directed by Peele, including horror films Get Out (2017) and Us (2017). This will also be Kaluuya’s second film with Peele after starring as the lead in Get Out. Nope will also be in the horror category, which appears to have become Peele’s specialty.

The final trailer gives viewers some clarification regarding the plot of the film. The film surrounds two siblings, Jill and James Haywood, trying to solve the murder of their father. Taking place on an isolated Californian horse farm, the siblings plan to capture the mysterious cloud or possible UFO for a monetary reward.  However, it won’t be as easy as the mysterious cloud, and whoever inhabits it begins to terrorize the siblings. The siblings are daunted with the task of finding someone to capture the UFO, which proves more difficult than expected.

The trailer also highlights Steven Yeun’s character Brian, who appears to be in charge of an exposition. Viewers also get a glimpse of co-stars Brandon Perea and Michael Wincott. Perea plays the character Kevin, who is hired by the siblings to help set up security cameras to capture the UFO and seems to provide comedic relief. Wincott’s character, Craig, is also brought in by the siblings to help capture the perfect shot of the UFO.

Viewers get a clear image of a UFO near the end of the trailer, heading straight towards them. This scene alone suggests a sci-fi element to the film. However, in true Peele fashion, the trailer still leaves many questions, and like his other films, metaphors regarding racial relations are most likely included.
