Attention, Swifties, Taylor Swift is finally going back on tour. On Tuesday, the “Anti-Hero” singer announced the news on Good Morning America. Swift’s upcoming tour is titled ‘Eras’ and will take place in stadiums across the United States.

Presented by Capital One, the tour will kick off in the spring of 2023. Swift stated on Good Morning America, “The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Swift released a promotional poster and the U.S. tour schedule on her social media. The posts read, “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)”

First, the tour will begin on March 18, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium. The final date is August 5 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The tour will travel to seven cities: Arlington, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Foxborough, East Rutherford, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

The U.S. leg has a total of twenty-seven dates listed. Nine opening acts will feature Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

Swift hasn’t performed since her Reputation stadium tour in 2018. She was supposed to tour in 2020 for her album Lover, but concerts were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Since her last tour, the musician has released six albumsFolklore and Evermore are sister albums, both released in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version) were released in 2021 and are re-recordings of her previous albums. Midnights, Swift’s tenth studio album, was released on October 21 and has climbed the Billboard charts.

Swift clarified that there will be a European leg of the tour, but no dates have been released. Tickets for the ‘Eras’ tour can be pre-ordered on November 18 through Ticketmaster.
