Three-time Grammy award-winning singer, Lizzo, captured the audience with a gospel-infused performance of her hit songs “About D*mn Time” and “Special.”

Opening the performance, Lizzo sang a short snippet of her hit song “About D*mn Time.” Following, she asks the audience, “Alright, Grammys. Y’all trying to have some church up in here?” She then transformed the stage into a gospel-infused version of her hit song “Special” with her choir draped in gold. She touched the audience with her voice by singing, “In case nobody told you today, you’re special.”

Following the stunning performance, the host, Trevor Noah, was amazed. “You don’t see that every day. Every single time she hits the stage, It’s phenomenal.” He adores her and continues, “I need to get me one of those gospel choirs. I love her. She’s like, if dopamine was a person.”
