Joji and Leon Bridges will headline the festival. Other big names include Pinkpantheress, Omar Apollo, Jeremy Zucker, Dayglow, Stephen Sanchez, and Lizzy McAlpine.

This festival consists of music with chill vibes, bringing together indie-pop and new-wave R&B. The two headliners, Joji and Leon Bridges bring a good mix of their R&B and Neo-soul genres to the table.

Bridges won a Grammy in 2019 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for his song “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand.” He has almost 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is best known for his songs like “River” and “Coming Home” off of his Coming Home (Deluxe) album.

Joji recently went on his “Smithereens” tour in North America this past October and September. His songs like “Glimpse of Us” and “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK” have blown up on TikTok.

Some fans are excited about the lineup, others are disappointed in the selection. However, one thing for sure is it caters to a few intertwined genres of music without representation in the hip-hop and pop genres.

Bleached Festival is a collaboration between Tight Knit and FNGRS CRSSD and it takes place in the location home to the annual Wonderfront Festival.

The San Diego location was important for the Bleached Festival concept, being that it is located a short walk from the Amtrak station near downtown. Guests are able to enjoy all of the restaurants, bars, and shopping as part of the more chill festival experience.

Tickets will go on sale on April 4 at 11 a.m. PST. More artists will be announced in the near future.
