Victoria Monét has you covered on your new favorite party song as she announced her new single, “Party Girls,” out Wednesday, May 10.

A short snippet of the song’s instrumental part was released; it’s less than 10 seconds long and shows Monét in the video.

The American singer-songwriter and producer has been in the music game since 2014 but made a name for herself in 2020 with the release of her album, JAGUAR. Boasting over six million monthly listeners on Spotify, Monét has collaborated with prominent artists like Ariana Grande, Khalid, Bryson Tiller, and most recently, Lucky Daye with her newest single, “Smoke.”

Along with “Smoke,” the interlude “We Might Even Be Falling in Love” was also released this year and then remixed to feature Bryson Tiller. “Party Girls” will be the third single from the artist this year.

Monét posted a video on her Instagram account last week challenging anyone to perform an open verse to extend “We Might Even Be Falling in Love.” Her angelic voice in the song has left fans wanting more than the short 51 seconds.

Monét specializes in a blend of pop and R&B music. While she has not won any awards yet for her music, she was nominated for two Grammys in 2020 for her work with Ariana Grande on her Thank U, Next album and “7 Rings” and one Grammy in 2021 for her work in “Do It” by Chloe x Halle. Some believe Monét is an underrated artist and is on the rise. Regardless, she is one to watch as the singer continues to churn out successful singles.

While there is no official talk of a new album release date, fans are anticipating one based on the influx of singles. “Party Girls” will be on all streaming platforms Wednesday, May 10.
