Zoey 102 will be a follow-up film to the original Zoey 101 sitcom. This time, graduates of Pacific Coast Academy will reunite, including several of the original cast members as well as new faces. Returning cast members include Jamie Lynn Spears (Zoey Brooks), Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen), and Jack Salvatore Jr (Mark Del Figgalo). Joining the cast is Thomas Lennon of Reno 911, Owen Thiele, and Dean Geyer of Glee.

Spears will not only be an actress in the film but will also join the cast as a producer. “I’m beyond thrilled to be back alongside my PCA family and continue the story of Zoey and all the characters fans know and love. As an executive producer, it’s been an exciting opportunity to work with such incredible talent as well as Paramount+ and Nickelodeon,” she told E! News. Alexis Fisher will join her as a producer.

Initially, Spears teased the project on her Instagram, where she shared a cryptic message about the film.

In addition, a teaser for the film was tweeted by Paramount+ on Twitter earlier Thursday, giving audiences a first look into the project. Here, the official logo was revealed for the first time.

This time around, Spears’ character Zoey will navigate adult life and her struggles with love. The synopsis reads, “Over a decade after the iconic series ended, Zoey Brooks is still trying to figure out life and love, this time in her 20s. The Pacific Coast Academy (PCA) gang returns to Malibu for an over-the-top wedding turned high school reunion for the books.”

Nickelodeon also shared insider photos of the film on Instagram, where more of the cast was revealed.

Zoey 102 will not be directed by the infamous Dan Schneider, but rather by Nancy Hower, who directed Netflix’s Insatiable starring Debby Ryan.

Zoey 102 will stream exclusively on Paramount+ later this summer, where fans can join the Pacific Coast Academy alumni.
