Barbie Fans Can Now Stay at the Malibu Dreamhouse Thanks to Airbnb
The Malibu Barbie Dreamhouse is now available for rent thanks to Airbnb, giving fans of the iconic doll a chance to live out their childhood dreams.
The Barbie movie is set to hit theaters on July 21. However, fans do not have to wait until then to experience the world of Barbie.

A private Malibu mansion has been transformed to mimic the iconic Dreamhouse where Barbie and Ken reside. The oceanfront mansion is been decked out with magenta details. The Airbnb includes a disco dance floor, roller rink, outdoor gym, outdoor bar and grill, and infinity pool featuring pool floats that spell out “Ken.”
In fact, the stay at the Dreamhouse replica is hosted and inspired by Ken.
The mansion features Western details, such as cowboy boots and hats, to reflect Ken’s style.
Fans will have the opportunity to book Ken’s room in Barbie’s Dreamhouse on July 17 at 10 a.m. PT. The Airbnb can be rented for a one-night stay for up to two individuals. However, July 21 and July 22 will be the only two dates available for fans to enjoy the free stay.
Guests will also be able to indulge in additional perks associated with the stay. A concierge service will assist in organizing meals and activities, such as learning how to line dance on the disco floor. Guests will also leave their stay with a set of yellow-and-pink Impala skates and surfboards.
In October 2019, fans also had the opportunity to experience the magenta-colored world of Barbie for $60 a night in celebration of the iconic brand’s 60th anniversary. The property has since been revamped to include touches of Ken’s personality as well.
Airbnb is making a one-time donation to Save the Children to celebrate the release of the film and rental of the property.
The anticipation for the Barbie film continues to build, especially with Airbnb’s take on this excitement. Fans are ready to live out their childhood dreams.

The July 21 release of Barbie features Margot Robbie as the iconic blonde Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. The film was written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, and will also feature stars Will Ferrell and Kate McKinnon.
