Dancing with the Stars Potentially Having a New Taylor Swift Night This Season

Is the cast of Dancing with the Stars secretly Swifties? In an interview with Billboard after Latin Night on October 3, pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd revealed that a Taylor Swift-themed night is coming up this season.

“We will be having a Taylor Swift week here,” Murgatroyd tells Tetris Kelly when asked what top Billboard artist she and her partner, Barry Williams, would want to perform to. Immediately after adding, “Am I allowed to say that?”

The dancer did not reveal any details regarding when the potential Swfit-themed night will take place.

Williams revealed that he had been a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and their tight end, Travis Kelce, before his relationship with Taylor Swift.

However, this was not the first time a pro dancer has mentioned a Taylor Swift night this season. During an episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Artem Chigvintsev hinted at a Swift-themed DWTS night.

“Another night I am excited for, and I wanted to know Charity, if you are excited as well, is Taylor Swift. Are you a Swiftie?” Nikki asked Charity Lawson.

“I am not a major one, but I do love her, so yeah. I am super excited about that,” Charity stated.

His celebrity partner revealed that she requested to use one of Swift’s songs for the first week of the reality show, but was denied.

DWTS has yet to confirm a night centered around the mega pop star’s music.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to Dancing with the Stars. The idea of a Swift night wouldn’t be far-fetched considering the singer celebrated the release of her album Speak Now with a performance of “Mine” and “White Horse.”
