Fans speculate Bruno Mars might be suggesting his presence on Beyoncé’s new album after wearing a belt similar to one she wore in her “Ivy Park Rodeo” photoshoot.

Bruno Mars may have teased his appearance on Beyoncé‘s new album, Cowboy Carter. On March 16, the “24K Magic” singer took to Instagram to share a new photo. Captioned with a desert emoji, Mars posed in front of a mirrored wall wearing a black vest and silk shirt paired with a white cowboy hat, and, most notably, a chunky black and silver belt with the letter B on it.

Fans quickly realized the belt was strikingly similar to one Beyoncé wore in a promotional image for her “Ivy Park Rodeo” collection, one of many brand collaborations with Adidas. According to Adidas News, the collection was released in July 2021 and fused streetwear, athleisure, and Black cowboy aesthetics. The art direction for the collection aligns with the singer’s country-based upcoming album, Cowboy Carter, scheduled for release on March 29.

If the theory is correct, the song would mark the first studio collaboration between the two powerhouse performers. The pair joined Coldplay as guests for their Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 7, 2016. First, Mars appeared, singing his hit “Uptown Funk.” A marching band on the football field concealed Beyoncé and her dancers lined up in “Formation,” which served as the lead single from her sixth studio album, Lemonade, released two months later.

Beyoncé unveiled the title Cowboy Carter on March 12 alongside a teaser poster. Simplistic in design, it displays a horse saddle with a red, white, and blue sash presenting the album title in bold, black letters. She also released two limited-edition CD box sets with accompanying t-shirts and four vinyl variants in blue, red, white, and standard black. The varying album covers and full tracklist have yet to be revealed, drumming up fan anticipation. Singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” were released on February 11 during Super Bowl LVIII after her Verizon commercial co-starring Tony Hale aired.

Mars has also found himself very busy lately. His eight-year Park MGM Las Vegas residency has been extended with 12 additional dates from June to September 1. Attendees can expect a career-spanning setlist including hits such as “Just the Way You Are,” “Uptown Funk,” “When I Was Your Man,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” and “24K Magic,” and possibly songs from Silk Sonic, his duo with Anderson .Paak. Moreover, Mars recently opened a cocktail lounge in Las Vegas named Pinky Ring, which will host a curated collection of premium cocktails and live entertainment, according to the website.

Beyoncé’s latest album, Cowboy Carter, can be pre-saved on Tidal, Spotify, and Apple Music. Tickets to Mars’ Park MGM Las Vegas residency are now available for purchase.
