Chloe recently announced that her new single, Boy Bye, will be released on April 12. The confident anthem arrives just in time for summer.

Bailey took to social media on Monday, April 8, to tell fans about “Boy Bye.” She revealed the cover art for the single and the release date. In her post, she rides in the back of a classic red convertible with her arms in the air. The license plate aptly reads “Boy Bye,” giving the photo a carefree feeling that everybody is excited for this summer.

On April 1, the pop R&B singer posted a teaser snippet of “Boy Bye” on X. Although the clip only lasted 23 seconds, it perfectly captured the song’s vibe. “Boy, bye. Bye. I won’t even cry. Go cry to your mama,” she stated in the lyrics as she drove away. This track encapsulates the feeling of leaving a toxic relationship behind just in time for a new season of your life.

According to Billboard, this is Bailey’s second single release since her 2023 debut album, In Pieces. The LP drew great success for the artist, peaking at number 17 on the Top R&B Albums chart and number 119 on the Top 200. It featured collaborations with iconic artists like Missy Elliot and Future. Bailey’s first musical release after In Pieces was a single entitled “FYS.” “FYS” also marked her first release of 2024, and “Boy Bye” will be her second.

The snippet Bailey posted sparked fan anticipation for the single’s release. They can’t wait to see more music from the Grammy-nominated singer.
