Beyoncé and Cowboy Carter Break a New Record

Cowboy Carter has surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest Beyoncé album to reach the milestone.

The Twitter/X account for Chart Data reported the deed. Additionally, all of Beyoncé’s albums have reached the mark of one billion streams on the platform, but this one did it in under ten days, making it the fastest to get that number.

The album’s first single, Texas Hold’ Em, is the most streamed song of the album on Spotify and her most popular song on the platform. The single has reached over 350 million streams and takes the first position, despite Crazy In Love (feat. Jay-Z) having more streams, surpassing one billion listens.

On top of that, a TikTok dance trend has surfaced for the song II HANDS II HEAVEN. During Coachella weekend, even singer Chloe Bailey performed the trend.

Earlier this year, during the 66 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award. During his acceptance speech, he raised awareness that even though his wife is the biggest winner of all time (32 awards), she has never won Album of the Year. However, her fans and music experts have pointed out that Cowboy Carter is a strong competitor for the award.

Cowboy Carter is full of record-breaking moments and achievements like every Beyoncé release. For example, this week is the first one since the album’s release when it has not been number one on Billboard’s Top Country Album list. Morgan Wallen’s release, One Thing At A Time, now takes the position. Bey’s album just fell one position, taking second place, and it takes fourth place in the overall chart.

You can stream Cowboy Carter on all music streaming platforms.
