Back in February, the song for the film of the same title, No Time to Die, was released. She joins the list of artists like Adele and Sam Smith who have had the honor of singing for the films. Now eight months later, fans of Eilish and the 007 series have a music video for the film’s theme.

Eilish stands draped in all black with only a microphone as she sings the solemn lyrics, “Was it obvious to everybody else that I’d fallen for a lie? You were never on my side.” Throughout the video are clips of the film, between shots of Eilish’s icy, blue-eyed stare.

Fans of the singer are already raving about the video on social media, which received over 300,000 views within the hour of its premiere. Twitter users are already hoping there is an Oscar in Eilish’s future for the ballad.

No Time to Die will be the 25th film in the James Bond Franchise, starring Daniel Craig, who has played Bond in the last five films. French Actress Léa Seydoux will be reprising her role as Bond’s love interest Dr. Madeleine Swann, while Christoph Waltz returns as Ernst Blofeld. New to the cast are British actress Lashana Lynch who will be playing Nomi, a new 00 agent, and Rami Malek, who will be playing a villain named Safin.

The film was originally set to premiere back in November 2019 but was pushed back twice to February and then April 2020, due to a change of director and others working on the film. The film was delayed a third time, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
