Trevor Jackson’s New Music Video ‘Your Everything’ Is Our Everything
24-year-old Trevor Jackson released a music video for the song “Your Everything” off of his debut album, The Love Language. The music video was released on April 27, which features a comedic twist where Jackson is seen dressed in different disguises. “Your Everything” puts the listeners at ease with his soothing tone as he sings the lyrics “Then I will be your everything, I said, I will be your everything, If you don’t have a shoulder to lean on, nothin’ to keep you war.”
Jackson is best known for portraying Aaron Jackson in Grown-ish. His other acting roles consist of Youngblood Priest in Superfly, Zurich in Netflix’s Burning Sands, and Kevin LaCroix in ABC’s American Crime.
His recently released 14-track LP The Love Language has songs that capture a variety of emotions from longing to vulnerability to feeling distant and disconnected. This is a beautiful playlist to listen to while studying, heartbroken, or needing some self-care.
The music video begins with an intense argument between a couple. Jackson plays everyone else in the video. His roles include: the Amazon Deliver driver who smoothly slides down the pavement on Heelys, a skater, a fancy taxi driver wearing a brown houndstooth print coat with a fedora and one dangly earring, as well as a sheriff, a thief, and the woman’s entire family. By the end of the video, he replaces the woman’s partner in bed.
Trevor be directing the mess out of his videos!! Love this video and this my fave song from the album https://t.co/ogSEpnOzKs

Jackson believes that there is a multiplicity in love and “I don’t think love is always happy. Sometimes there’s sadness. Sometimes there’s frustration, there’s confusion, but there’s also peace, love, joy, all the positive things as well. It’s a combination of those things that make something work. I don’t think any relationship is just perfect from top to bottom. It takes the right balance of all of those things to make something last and I feel like I was really able to express myself on this album.”
In a BET interview, Jackson explained that, ““Music is often how I’m able to express myself on all the levels of love.”
In Jackson’s next project, he will be in Revelation Entertainment’s film Hate To See You Go. The film features actors such as Morgan Freeman, Alfre Woodard, Common, and Bill Burr.
