‘The Morning Show’ Starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon to Return in September

On June 14, Apple TV+ dropped a new teaser of the award-winning The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Beginning September 17, the Apple Original series is set to air the first episode and continue every Friday.

Aniston and Witherspoon’s executive produced this drama series about facing power dynamics between women and men in the workplace. Navigating the world of morning news, The Morning Show team will have to face “the cost to success and fame,” as said in the trailer for season two. In a press release, Apple wrote what comes into play is the idea of “who we present as and who we really are.”

Returning for season two, the well-known cast including, Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, and more, will make an appearance. Additionally, new characters such as Stella Bak (played by Greta Lee), Ty Fitzgerald (played by Ruairi O’Connor), Eric Nomani (played by Hasan Minhaj), and others will be joining the cast.

Winning multiple awards, The Morning Show has been revealed to be a highly acclaimed drama series. Currently, the series itself has been awarded a TV Choice Award for Best New Drama. Equally important, it also received multiple nominations from the Television Critics Association.
