BTS Announces New ‘Butter’ CD Which Includes a New Song
After delivering their fresh new summer track, “Butter,” BTS will be releasing a physical version of the song alongside a new song on the CD. BTS fans, nicknamed “Army,” seem quite excited for this new release, and they definitely should be.
After performing this past weekend at a two-day fan meet, Muster Sowoozoo, the Bangtan Boys officially announced pictures and a teaser video for the upcoming CD. Sharing the news on BTS Weverse, photos shared have two versions, one being a yellow color and the other taking notes of red and orange. Alongside photos of the physical CD, there were creative breaking news-themed videos warning fans of a “BTS invasion” happening in Seoul.
A little over two minutes, the video poked fun at “Butter” themed jokes and played into the theme of food with this latest comeback. Speaking of food, fans noticed the words “Peaches” and “Cream” on the sides of the CD, which left many wondering if that could be hinting at the new song’s title. Army shared their excitement across social media and shared some exciting possible song titles.

In even more exciting news, the CD will officially be out on July 9 to celebrate ARMY’s birthday (the day that BTS’s fandom ARMY got its official name). According to the US BTS ARMY official website and the Weverse announcement, the CD will include “a new track that will make your heartbeat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy.” After releasing a “Hotter” remix music video of “Butter,” which showed off a more goofy side of RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, and J-Hope, ARMY has not been without content from the K-Pop sensations.

Alongside this new CD announcement, BTS has been taking the world by storm with “Butter” as it continues on its three-week streak as No 1 on the Billboard Top 100 and takes over Twitter every time they release new music. BTS has become a huge staple in the K-Pop industry, amassing millions of fans worldwide and constantly setting new records as a group. Having debuted back in 2013, the group has worked hard to become one of history’s most popular and sought-after boy groups. With “Butter” doing so well right now, this new song should be just as smooth.
