Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, will premiere on July 30 this month. To start the countdown, Disney released exciting, dueling trailers and new character posters.

The main characters of Jungle Cruise, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, were featured in personal movie posters ahead of the film’s release. They also released their own trailers

In a friendly competition, Johnson and Blunt make fun of each other in their trailers. In Johnson’s introduction, the 49-year-old actor announced the “epic summer movie-going event” for Jungle Cruise. After, Johnson jokingly forgot his co-star’s name and referred to Emily Blunt as “Ethel Brunt.”

Transitioning into the Skipper Frank trailer, Johnson’s character navigates the thrilling and exciting jungle cruise that travels down the Amazon River. Later, Skipper Frank Wolff meets Emily Blunt’s character, Dr. Lily Houghton, who needs the help of Skipper Frank for her mission into the Amazon rainforest.

In Blunt’s trailer, the British actress teased Johnson by calling him “Dave Gobson” and stating that her trailer is the “new and actual trailer.” At the beginning of the Dr. Lily Houghton trailer, Blunt’s character gives a rundown of the mission she will pursue with a voiceover. Dr. Lily Houghton explained, “Legend has it there is a tree in the Amazon that possesses unparalleled healing powers.” With a key and the help of Skipper Frank, Dr. Lily Houghton believes she can unlock the magical pink tree to help the future of medicine.

If you want to watch the movie this summer, Jungle Cruise can be found on Disney+ with Premier Access or in theaters on July 30.
