Anne-Marie Teams up With Little Mix for New Music Video

Anne-Marie is back with a new single and music video collaborating with the famous British girl group, Little Mix. New Music Fridays are heating up this summer with this intricate mix of vocals and harmony.

Together, the ladies dropped summer’s newest hit “Kiss My (UH-Oh)” on Friday, July 23 stunning the world with the Bridesmaids-themed music video. Cover art for the new single shows the perfect girls’ night out. The ladies are in a hotel room wearing white and black Versace robes respectively, with a touch of gold around the sleeves.

The cover art was released on the artist’s Instagram page along with the caption announcing the song’s release.

Upon listening to the latest summer bop, fans might have noticed a similar tune. The song samples “Never Leave You” by Lumidee while putting its spin on this classic hit. “Why you only lo-o-ove me when I’m walkin’ away?/Only ever wa-a-ant me when I don’t wanna stay?/Love the feeling, hittin’ different/I’m not ever looking back/While I’m leaving, I see you staring/Go ahead boy, you can kiss my/(Uh oh, uh oh),” the chorus says. 

Hannah Lux Davis directed the music video, and the Brit award-winning group gave her a shout-out in a recent Instagram post featuring a clip of the official video. “THE KISS MY (UH OH) VIDEO IS OUT 💋 Had such a laugh filming this with you @annemarie. Shout out to @hannahluxdavis for directing this beauty too 💖,” the caption stated.

Fans are loving this latest song. One fan tweeted about feeling a special connection and used the music video as inspiration to show her artistic skills and talent. Another mentioned the single being a “certified banger”.

“Kiss My (Uh, Oh)” is the latest single from Anne-Marie’s 2021 Therapy album from Asylum Records. The album features 12 songs for a total of 33 minutes and 44 seconds. Artists Niall Horan, KSI, Digital Farm Animals Nathan Dawe, and MoStack are featured on the album as well.
