BTS’ ‘Butter’ Remains a Stellar Hit on Hot 100 Chart
After crowning itself with the title of longest-running number one for 2021, BTS’ summer single “Butter” remains prevalent in this week’s Hot 100 chart.
BTS went on to cement another milestone in their never-ending record book of achievements as “Butter” and their July release “Permission to Dance” gives them another number one debut in less than a year. The South Korean group is (once again) the first act to reach such a feature.

With no sign of stopping soon, the group moves forward and continues to rack up these “firsts” in their arsenal.

When will the Bangtan boys return with a new crowning song of the season? According to eldest member Jin, it shouldn’t be much longer. In his Monday night (KST) V Live, he began dropping hints at an upcoming collaboration that he claims has already been leaked.
Back in July, Big Hit Music responded to rumors regarding a collab with Coldplay stating that the action is “difficult to confirm.”
The K-pop group covered the band’s iconic single “Fix You” on MTV Unplugged in February, so the possibility of the two coming in contact is high. Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin has acknowledged the septet’s impact on Twitter; fingers crossed the accolade was a hint at something bigger.
