Tinashe Delivers Flawless Performance of New Song ‘Undo’ on ‘GMA’
Lighting up the stage on Good Morning America, pop singer Tinashe performed “Undo (Back To My Heart)” for the first time since its release. Rocking a stunning outfit while performing, the singer gave us vocals and a look, all while performing live for the first time in a while.
Performing on Monday, August 9, Tinashe took the stage bright and early and absolutely owned her performance. Accompanied by two background singers, blue lighting to offset her outfit, and a live band, the pop singer had everything she needed to give everyone listening that brand new 333 album energy.
This marks the first official performance of “Undo (Back To My Heart)” since releasing 333, just a few days prior. The new song not a part of pre-album releases made it even more exciting for fans of the singer, as this now marks the first live performance of her new music. Tinashe usually coming in hot with killer dance moves like in her “Bouncin” music video, slowed things down for this performance, making even better use of her amazing voice. “Undo (Back To My Heart)” is one of the more emotional and ballad-like songs off the new album and really allowed the singer to showcase her vocal ability.
After not performing live for over a year due to the pandemic, Tinashe truly showed off the hard work she put in during quarantine and what this new album is all about. During her interview with GMA, the singer talked about the significance behind the album title, saying, “Well 333 represents angel numbers, which basically mean that you’re on the right track that everything is working out in your favor”, and continued to highlight that motto stating that after “creating this album in 2020, in lockdown, in a global pandemic that I make music that feels hopeful, that feels exciting that motivate people for the future”; and fans of the singer couldn’t have agreed more.

333 released on August 6, has a total of 16 new songs and a few collaborations from artists such as Buddy on her single “Pasadena,” Jeremih, and KAYTRANADA, to name a few. The album takes a different approach from her older albums. It really embodies a different side of pop music, making it sound a lot more like alternative pop than something you would typically hear on the radio. Giving fans a taste of synthesizers and lots of tempo changes, 333 gives pop music a brand new meaning and showcases Tinashe’s true abilities as an independent artist; the creative control is in her hands, and we are truly living for it.
