Delevigne is slated to take on the role of Alice, a sophisticated insider within the art world. As a series regular for season 2, Alice becomes entangled in the mysteries of Hulu’s most-watched original show.
The popularity of Only Murders in this Building is no surprise. In season 1, Gomez was joined by comedy legends Martin Short and Steve Martin. Together, they created a podcast to investigate the circumstances of a neighbor’s untimely death. As for what can be in store for season 2? Series Co-creator John Hoffman spoke with Elle about potential storyline directions.
“There is an expansion happening around everything in their lives and in the podcast,” Hoffman stated in the interview. “I think there’s something in there that might help us expand the show, maybe beyond the building, in future seasons.”

Also, Selena Gomez is incredible in it. HUGE bravo to her! Thank you @jeffcannata for bringing this masterpiece to my attention!
As for Delevigne, little else is known about her role. But the former model-turned-actress already has her hands on big projects. Most recently, Delevigne starred alongside Orlando Bloom in the Amazon Prime fantasy series Carnival Row. According to Deadline, she is also working with BBC and Hulu on Planet Sex, a docuseries exploring sexual identity in various countries.

Luckily, neither of those projects interferes with Only Murders in the Building. While the writers have been working on the script for a while now, filming officially starts next month.
“With this show, you have to sort of build the mystery backward to forward and twist our way to the resolve,” Hoffman told Elle. “That’s what we’ve been doing, and now we’re speeding our way through the scripts, and we’re about halfway through.”

The good news is, a new season of Only Murders in the Building is on the way. Bad news, it probably won’t be ready to stream for some time. In the meantime, get to know the characters by streaming season 1 on Hulu.
