Lana Del Rey Releases New Song ‘Watercolor Eyes’
Lana Del Rey has joined the world of Euphoria with her new ethereal track, “Watercolor Eyes.” The track will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit series.
The smash-hit drama series, Euphoria, recently returned to HBO for its second season on January 9. Euphoria “follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma, and social media.” The stellar cast is led by Zendaya (Rue), a role that brought her a historic Emmy win. The ensemble cast also features Maude Apatow (Lexi), Angus Cloud (Fezco), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Colman Domingo (Ali), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Barbie Ferreira (Kat), Hunter Schafer (Jules), and Sydney Sweeney (Cassie).
After much success in the first season, fans anticipated what season two would bring. HBO revealed in a tweet on January 19 that Lana Del Rey would lend her voice to the dreamworld that is Euphoria. “Watercolor Eyes” will play in episode three of the series on Sunday, January 23. The “Video Games” singer is the perfect voice to soundtrack many teenagers’ feelings in high school. The singer effortlessly blends her vocals into the glittery tears we all cry with each passing episode.

Lana Del Rey is not the only singer to appear on the Euphoria soundtrack in an unforgettable way. Another memorable moment in the series included a special episode about Jules (Hunter Schafer), where the emotional ballad “Liability” by Lorde opens the episode. It is a stunning artistic choice, giving viewers insight into Jules’ intimate experiences through her own eye.
Lana Del Rey has undoubtedly left fans reeling after the release of “Watercolor Eyes.” Be sure to catch the new song in Euphoria season two, episode three on HBO Max. The remaining tracks to the Euphoria soundtrack will be released on February 25.
