Normani Teases at New Music During Fan Q&A
If Normani fans needed any motivation to make it through the year, they’re in luck after the pop princess teased at new music.
The “Love Lies” singer answered several fan questions on her Instagram story Tuesday where she hinted at what she had in store for her upcoming single.
“This one is really unique and different for me. Probably what not everyone is expecting […] genre-bending for sure […] it’s just a great record,” stated the singer.
This information comes a day after ex-bandmate, Camila Cabello, revealed that she is dropping a bilingual banger. There was much speculation surrounding the relationship between the two, especially after Camila went solo and Normani spoke about the racism she faced. Nevertheless, she didn’t let the haters stop her and went on to release new music.
Not much is known about when the single will be released or even what it’s called. Fans guess that it will be called “Apple Martini” after the “Wild Side” singer posted a photo of the cocktail.
Normani is long overdue for an album, and the news of a single has left fans with mixed reactions. Some are jumping for joy at new music from the singer and dancer, while others are frustrated that she has yet to release a debut album despite saying she would release one every year.
