Lorde Rocked New Blonde Hair at Glastonbury Festival
It’s officially blonde girl summer. Lorde debuted a golden shade at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
Lorde has ditched her signature brown hair and is going for a Solar Power-inspired blonde. The New Zealand singer opted for platinum locks during her live performance. The singer’s hairstylist, Cameron Rains, shared photos of the singer confirming that this new hairstyle is real. Lorde made her first appearance as a platinum blonde in the “Mood Ring” music video when she wore a wig.
Lorde took the Pyramid Stage by storm and delivered a magical performance for fans. She performed songs off Pure Heroine, Melodrama, and Solar Power. In a memorable moment from the set, Lorde brought out close friends Arlo Parks and Clairo to help her harmonize on “Stoned at the Nail Salon.”

In addition to Lorde’s memorable set, the singer used her platform to reflect on Roe v. Wade. Her impassioned speech states, “You wanna know a secret, girls? Your bodies were destined to be controlled and objectified since before you were born. That horror is your birthright”. She continues, “Here’s another secret – you possess ancient wisdom. The wisdom that has propelled every woman who came before you. That wisdom is your birthright. I ask you today, make accessing that wisdom your life’s work, because everything depends on that.”
