The Ultimate Winners Recap From the 2022 MTV VMAs
The 2022 MTV VMAs were hosted live on August 28 at 8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PST by Nicki Minaj, Jack Harlow, and LL Cool J.
Alongside the exciting wins, the night was jam-packed with exhilarating performances. OG VMA performer Fergie joined newcomer Jack Harlow on the stage to perform his hit “First Class.” The song samples Fergie’s original hit “Glamorous” featuring Ludacris, making this collaboration a highlight of the night.
As usual, Ms. Minaj stole the show with her acceptance speech for the Video Vanguard Award acceptance performance. The singer performed some of her most well known hits, including “Anaconda,” “Super Bass,” and “Roman’s Revenge.”
Nevertheless, one of the most show-stopping moments of the night happened when Taylor Swift announces the release of her tenth studio album “Midnights” after winning Video of The Year.
